Clean Vibes Staff Openings Many thanks to all who applied to work PAID positions for Clean Vibes for the 2008 season.  We were overwhelmed by the hundreds of applications that we received.  At this time, all applicants have been notified of our hiring decisions. We are excited for what looks to be one of the busiest and most successful season to date! Please note, we are still accepting volunteer applications.  Volunteer applications are accepted on a rolling basis so there is no deadline for applying to volunteer with us.  If you are interested in volunteering, please read the information below carefully, fill out a volunteer application (by clicking on the link below), and email it to volunteers@cleanvibes.com Volunteer Positions Summer 2008 Join Clean Vibes as a Volunteer and help spread the clean vibe at your favorite festival. Clean Vibes is dedicated to educating fans about recycling and the importance of environmental stewardship. We believe that every person can make a difference and we rely on dedicated volunteers who are interested in inspiring others. To be a volunteer you must work a set amount of hours: usually a total of 8 to 20 hours within specific shift times is required. Volunteer shifts are usually during and/or after the show. The work includes handing out trash bags to the fans as they arrive, staffing raffle booths, and picking up trash. Benefits of a volunteer include: Free admission to the event (a fully refundable deposit is usually required) The satisfaction of helping to make a difference Additional benefits (Depending on the event) MAY Include: Meals while working Free event t-shirt Preferred camping (depending on time of arrival) Once you are accepted as a volunteer, you will be able to see which shows are available and let us know what shows you would like to work. Be sure to read the explanation of the process of acceptance of volunteer applications and how to go about signing up for specific shows once your application has been accepted. This explanation can be found on the volunteer application. Details regarding the expectations of volunteers and deposit information for each event will be specified upon acceptance of volunteer application. Please note that you do not need to purchase a ticket to any event for which you are accepted as a Clean Vibes volunteer.
